Cadbury Chocolate

The history of Cadbury starts in 1824 when John Cadbury opened his first small grocery shop in Birmingham where he sold among others cocoa and chocolate. A few years later he built his first purpose built factory in Birmingham. Nearly a century later and after hard and difficult times Cadbury produced the first Dairy Milk chocolate bar, which is still popular today and available in a number of varieties. 100 years ago they launched the bestseller Flake, a crumbly chocolate bar also popular with whipped ice cream.
