Melrose's Tea

In 1812 Andrew Melrose started blending and selling his tea in Edinburgh. He was so successful, that he decided to charter his own ship importing tea from abroad. After two years, in 1835, his charter docked the port of Leith, the first such shipment to dock a port outside of London.
